Join any time of the year! Start from scratch or extend your skills! If you are just starting, you will have made a piece by the end of your first class!
Cormac has a small environmentally imitate friendly craft workshop.

Class Timetable
Taster class - 2 hours plus silver 10.00 – 12.00
Mornings 10.00 – 1.00, Monday and Wednesday  and on Saturdays 10.00-12.00
Pick your own two hours or  3 hours
Evenings 7.30-9.30, Wednesday.
Max 5 students.
Silver is provided for the first class!

From September 25th 2017, class fees will increase to €15 an hour from €10.

Weekend workshop 10am – 4pm Max. 4 students.

Starting from scratch?
Learn to use the jewellery tools then a quick introduction to jewellery design concepts.All equipment provided.
All startersmake a piece of silver jewellery in their first class!

Try your own ideas in silver, possible make it 3D! Try Precious Metal clay, then make some cloisonné enamel on the fine silver.Use the pitch block to make 3d shapes in sterling silver to create your own masterpiece.

Experienced students
Upgrade your skills, work faster without using any harmful chemicals, acids /pickle.
Forget the limitations and dirt and dangers of the old polisher. Let the vibratory Tumbler do the work, cleanly and safely with even the most complex item with chains and stones.

Projects
What would you really like to make?
Make a chain/ bracelet to learn how to soldering quickly.
Make the ring that you dreamed of, perhaps with a little help from me, set some semi- precious stones!
Or try the new exciting Precious Metal Clay (fine silver 999.2), which is like shaping plastercine or paint the fine silver on an organic material or make hollow beads! Learn to make your own mouldsfor the fine silver clay, before firing it in the kiln. Then you add some enamelfor colour!

Demonstrations of Cuttlefish casting of silver, dates back before the Vikings.
Recycle old/ broken hallmarked gold, possible something from a loved one with silver, for every day wear.

Weekend workshop 10am – 4pm Max. 4 students.
St. Patrick's Day, Easter, May and June Bank Holiday Weekends (Friday - Monday)
Additional dates can be arranged on request.

The workshops are suitable for those starting from scratch or experienced.

Price: €99 a day, including lunch, sterling silver & some PMC3 (€190 for 2 day course)


Location: Monkstown Rd, 5km south of Dublin, 12 minutes from city on the Dart to
Seapoint Dart station or buses 4a, 7, 7a, 8 to Monkstown rd.

Included in the fee are sterling silver, fine silver clay (PMC3) semi-precious stones and Thompson lead free translucent enamels and Snack lunches, fee €290 for 2 day course, max 4 students

Note: If you want to just work in fine silver clay, please buy additional Precious Metal Clay (PMC3) available from N & N Silver Suppliers, in Temple Bar in Dublin.
